No one seems to know for sure the answer to that question. One thing is for certain though it is definitely not a localized epidemic. Reports are popping up all over the country and well as Canada questioning the disappearance of squirrels. Squirrel carcasses are being found across the nation. Some people blame it on the hot summer or the lack of food last winter. I don’t know if will ever know the answer but if you have any insight on this issue we would love to hear from you.
